This scripture presents one of the clearest and most compelling portraits of living faith—a faith that lives, breathes and obeys. Here, the Apostle Paul uses the life of Abraham to demonstrate what it means to trust God actively—daily, deliberately, and with perseverance. In an age filled with uncertainty, spiritual apathy, and scepticism, this passage calls us to a faith that is neither passive nor theoretical but living, vibrant, and obedient.
In Isaiah 9:6-7, prophet Isaiah presented the credentials of the prophesied child, from which we behold not merely a baby in a manger, but also a King, a Saviour, and God Himself. WHAT AN AMAZING LIST OF CREDENTIALS – Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end. Every title and attribute reveals who Jesus is and what He means for the world—and for us personally. This video considers each of His credentials to see their implications and significance as well as the uniqueness of this child to us and everyone else
Identity in Christ means we are seated with Him. Responsibility means we must walk worthy of that seat — exercising authority, manifesting holiness, and representing heaven on earth. Grace gives us identity; growth gives us maturity. Both are needed for the full expression of Christ in His Church.
Romans 4:1–16 brings us to the very heart of the Christian message: salvation by faith. Not faith as a vague idea, not faith as a religious badge, but faith that is living, trusting, balanced, and active. Paul turns to Abraham—the father of the faithful—to show us what genuine faith looks like, how it is received, and what it demands from us today.
Often, Christians live with their heads down—preoccupied, busy, distracted. Yet Jesus invites us to lift up our eyes and see the spiritual hunger around us. People you meet daily—colleagues, family members, neighbours—are searching for hope, peace, forgiveness, and truth.
Scripture reminds us that “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” (Proverbs 29:18)
Romans 3:19-31 brings us to one of the most powerful and foundational passages in all of Scripture. In these verses, the apostle Paul leads us from the depths of human guilt to the heights of God’s grace. He takes us into God’s courtroom, delivers heaven’s verdict on humanity, and then unveils God’s glorious remedy in Jesus Christ.
Romans 3 reminds us that all men are sinners, but it also points us to the mercy of God through Christ. The question before us is not whether God is faithful — He is. The question is whether we will respond in faith and obedience.
God restores people and no one is too soiled to be beyond His restoration power, if surrendered to Him and to the process. It cost God the blood of Jesus Christ to pay for our restoration. The restoration process may be lengthy but the outcome is well worth it.
God has a good destiny for you, irrespective of your current situation and circumstances. However, destiny is not only shaped by God’s promises but also by our attitudes, responses, and humility in moments of pressure. Many people lose their place, delay their breakthroughs, or truncate their future because they fail to maintain the right spirit.
Many profess Christianity outwardly but lack inward transformation. Others, though outside the faith, may live by moral conviction yet fail to know the saving grace of Christ. God calls both to repentance and sincere obedience.
Beloved, you have been invited by God to a feast — not a famine. The blood of Jesus paid for your peace, joy, healing, righteousness, and victory. Don’t live on “crackers and cheese” when a royal banquet awaits you. Step into the dining hall of grace. Feed daily on the Word of God. Walk in revelation. Live in the abundance of all that Christ has purchased for you. Romans 8:32 – “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
The righteous judgement of God calls every soul to self-examination. Let us not be hearers only, but doers of the Word. Let us cast off hypocrisy, embrace repentance, and walk in truth. As Jesus said in Revelation 22:12: “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
Satan’s strategy is not always fierce—it is often quiet. Apathy. Distraction. Comfort. But the Church must rise in love and urgency. “For the love of Christ constraineth us…” – 2 Corinthians 5:14. It is the love of Christ—not guilt, not pressure—that drives us to act. To reach. To rescue. Let us not say “We knew it not,” for God pondereth the heart. Let our lives be proof that the love of Christ still moves men to act.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).
Freedom from worry and anxiety does not come from the absence of problems, but from the presence of God. So today: 1. Choose to trust Him. 2. Cast your cares upon Him. 3. Pray instead of worrying. 4. Rejoice, even when the fig tree does not blossom (Habakkuk 3:17–19) — for the God who fed the sparrows and clothed the lilies will surely care for you.
The question before us today is this: How can we, as Christians, live lives and render service that glorify God in our day? In Romans 1:1–12, Paul shows us principles that every believer must embrace if we would bring honour to Christ.
The Book of Romans is the crown jewel of Paul’s epistles. It reveals man’s ruin through sin, God’s remedy through Christ, and the believer’s responsibility to live in holiness.
We live in a world where fear shouts louder than faith. Yet, for every believer, courage is not an optional trait — it is a divine requirement. Courage is the evidence that we trust God more than we fear the consequences. It shows that we care more about what God thinks than what people think of us. It is the daily choice to obey God even when fear, doubt, or danger rise against us.
From Genesis to Revelation, from Moses to Paul, from the prophets of old to the apostles of the Lamb, the Bible consistently reveals one thing – God seeks men and women through whom He may reveal His power and glory. And when man and God walk together, history is changed, kingdoms are shaken, and souls are saved.
The question “Who am I in Christ?” must never be answered by feelings, by culture, or by the opinions of men. The answer is found only in God’s Word. And God’s Word declares: You are new. You are reconciled. You are chosen. You are redeemed. You are sealed. You are alive. You are part of His Body. You are fruitful. You are victorious. Therefore, rise and live as who you are — a child of The Living God in Christ Jesus.
The apostles were not extraordinary men by nature. They were fishermen, tax collectors, and ordinary citizens. What made them extraordinary was their surrender to God. In these last days, God still seeks men and women who will be vessels of honour – holy, prayerful, Spirit-filled, obedient, courageous, and loving.
Without the Spirit, the disciples were fearful, uncertain, and hiding behind closed doors. With the Spirit, they became bold, unstoppable, and turned the world upside down. The difference was not education, strategy, or organisation—it was the Holy Ghost of God dwelling within and working through them.
Acts of the Apostles is in truth the Acts of the Holy Ghost through yielded vessels. The same Spirit is with us today. The objectives remain unchanged: to bear witness of Christ to the ends of the earth. The challenges may look different in the 21st century, yet the strategies are the same: Spirit-filled living, bold preaching, fervent prayer, unity in the body, perseverance under trial and the wisdom of serpents with the harmlessness of doves.
The greatest tragedy in the Christian life is not persecution, nor poverty, nor even spiritual warfare — it is forgetting who we are in the love of God.
Acts 28 was never meant to be the end of the book. It is a doorway, a springboard, a divine invitation. The pen is now in our hands. Heaven is watching. Hell is trembling. The world is waiting. Let us write the next chapter—with our lives, our lips, our love, and our sacrifice. Let us be the generation that does not drop the torch, but carries the flame all the way to glory.
The question Jesus asked Peter—“Lovest thou me?”—is not only for Peter. It echoes through the centuries and reaches each of us today. The essence of Christian faith is love for Christ. But not just a love that is spoken or sentimental—a love that is demonstrated daily through obedience, sacrifice, and the fulfilment of His commission.
Paul’s chains could not stop the Gospel. His life, poured out in faithful witness, challenges us all. Let us likewise be faithful in adversity, speak with boldness, ready to reason, expect mixed responses, guard against hardness of heart, and carry the mission forward.
We live in times of shaking—uncertainty in economies, instability in nations, trials in churches, and personal storms that test our resolve. In such moments, the question arises: “Shall we trust what we see, or shall we trust the God who sees all?” As Christians, our perspective must transcend circumstances. We are not called to merely react to what we see, but to speak what God says, and to see what God shows, even when natural vision fails.
Paul’s journey to Rome reminds us that Christian service is marked by trial, fellowship, encouragement, and provision. These principles remain unchanged today.
There is a time to fight — yes. But there is also a time to lay down your arms and let God work. To resist when God calls us to surrender is to delay healing, peace, purpose, and blessing.
Leadership in Christian ministry is not forged in comfort but in crisis. The Apostle Paul, having just survived shipwreck, stands not as a broken man but as a servant of power. From Acts 28:1–10, we uncover lessons for becoming strong Christians – men and women fit for leadership and ministry.
Personal faith – your faith is God’s chosen vehicle for your personal victory. The Word of God teaches us that we must exercise our own faith, for it is “your faith” that will ultimately see you through to victory. Let us dive into God’s Word to uncover the power of individual, personal faith and how it brings miracles, breakthroughs, and triumphs in our lives.
Storms may come. Ships may shatter. But God’s word remains, His purposes stand, and His people are never truly lost. Let us, like Paul, be carriers of calm in a chaotic world, anchored by divine assurance.
To walk in true Christianity is to acknowledge the Divine Ownership of God over all that we are and all that we have. If we have been created by Him, and redeemed by His Son, how dare we live as though we are free agents?
Jesus endured the contradiction of sinners, yet He remained faithful to His mission. As believers, we must follow His example, standing firm in faith despite opposition. Let us consider Him, draw strength from His endurance, and press forward in our Christian walk.
Like Paul, we may find ourselves in storms not of our making—caused by the decisions of others, or simply the trials of a fallen world. Yet even there, God speaks, God preserves, and God delivers. Storms in life will come, but we are not alone. Like Paul, we can stand firm in the promises of God, knowing He is in control. When we trust Him, hold onto His word, and encourage others, we transform hardship into a testimony of faith.
We must always remember that the God of love is also the God of justice. Love is God’s essence; justice is the foundation of His rule. In Him, they are one – the two are intrinsically linked. And so must they be in us. God’s love is not a passive sentiment but an active force that seeks to right wrongs and bring about justice.
Storms of life are inevitable, but they are not insurmountable. Life is filled with unexpected gales and unrelenting winds. We may face tempests that threaten to drive us into despair. Like Paul, let us trust God’s word, endure with patience, and emerge victorious through Him.
As Christians, our journey is like that of Paul’s voyage to Rome – filled with uncertain winds and deceptive calms. Acts 27:1-13 teaches us to trust God’s guidance, heed His warnings, prioritise obedience over convenience, and remain vigilant against deception. As we journey through life, may we anchor our faith in Christ, the true Captain of our souls.
Life is filled with choices, and the way we approach these choices often determines the outcome of our journey. The principle “It is better to prepare than to repair” teaches us the importance of careful planning, patience, and seeking God’s guidance before taking action.
Aligning our interests with God’s will can be a challenging endeavour, and several obstacles can hinder this alignment. Faith, perseverance, and practical steps presented in this message will facilitate overcoming the obstacles.
No power on earth can thwart what God has purposed. Therefore, when believers face setbacks, betrayals, or systems stacked against them, they must trust that God’s providence rules over all. “And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God” (Philippians 1:28).
Every servant of God faces trials. Yet, our sufferings are momentary compared to the eternal joy ahead. Jesus never promised a life without challenges, but He assured us that those who endure will reign with Him. Endurance is the key to obtaining the eternal reward. “Hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown” (Revelation 3:11).
Aligning our interests with God’s in daily life is a journey that requires intentionality, prayer and a commitment to follow His guidance lead to victory over conflict of interest. Learn from this message the practical steps to doing so.
A songwriter once wrote “No matter what may be the test, God will take care of you”. Yes He will certainly do as His word promises “The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore” (Psalm 121:8). Trust Him at all times.
“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward” (Hebrews 10:35). “… the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1).
Strive to maintain a good conscience before God and man. “Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ” (I Peter 3:16).
The world is full of conflicting interests. At the heart of this is the eternal struggle between humanity and God. Yet, it is vital for us to understand that whenever a conflict of interest arises between man and God, the interest of God always prevails. The Scriptures declare that “the counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations” (Psalm 33:11).
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17). God still has a cure for sin!
“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as dove” (Matthew 10:16). “Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee” (Proverbs 2:11).
Consistent living eliminates credibility gap caused by mismatch between words and actions; and instead facilitates a life of integrity where our words and actions are aligned with God’s Word.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” (Revelation 12:11).
Paul’s resolve to continue preaching the gospel was severely tested all through his life, but he overcame. Yours too will be equally tested but the grace of God will be more than sufficient to remain an overcomer through Jesus.
Studying the STOPS of Jesus provide illuminating insights into the principles of effectively handling interruptions in life and turning them into Divine opportunities to minister to the needs of others and advance the Kingdom of God. Though divinely purposed, Jesus was never in haste nor in a hurry. “… He that believeth shall not make haste” (Isaiah 28:16).
Paul not only desired but also determined to go to Jerusalem, and to Jerusalem he got to, despite the challenges. God promises to “… fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them” (Psalms 145:19). Keep trusting and moving on. Your mission will be accomplished as well, to the glory of God.
Bible events are not mere coincidences but divine orchestrations. God’s precision in guiding Abraham’s servant to Rebekah and leading Jacob to Rachel and Leah demonstrates His sovereign control over every detail of our lives. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way” (Psalm 37:23). Let us, therefore, trust in the Lord with all our hearts, knowing that He directs our paths with perfect precision.
Trusting in God’s plan is fundamental to a fruitful ministry. It is important to submit to God’s will, even when it leads to challenging circumstances. “And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done” (Acts 21:14).
“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood” (Acts 20:28).
Miracles get delayed and crisis get prolonged when people fail to take right decisions and act accordingly on time. When God’s will is made clear in His word, it is not for us to delay under the pretence of praying for confirmation, but a matter of personal decision. Choose wisely, embrace His guidance and walk in obedience to receive His blessings.
“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. ” (Acts 20:20).
When you go through storms of life, and wonder what in the world is happening, remember that God has got it in His hands. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
Awareness is the Christian’s first line of defence against satanic deceptions, tricks, manipulations, strategies and schemes. Do not become a victim due to ignorance.
It is important to accomplish things, but it is even more important to do so effectively. These divine and timeless principles will help you to do just that.
Every bad situation in life can be changed for the better if only the timeless and divine principles of victorious living are followed. Generally, God gives people opportunities for new beginnings. Be sure to make the best use of yours.
Your expected NEW YEAR begins with a NEW YOU – an internal divine transformation by the Holy Spirit that aligns the entirety of your being to God’s beautiful plans for your life (Jeremiah 29:11).
The reason behind an event underscores its significance and influences not only our response but also our course of action. Knowing why Jesus was born will affect you for time and unto eternity.
In every aspect of our lives, let us prioritise the Word of God. By hearing and obeying His Word, we draw closer to Him and fulfil His divine purpose. In one of His Sermons, Kenneth Hagin pointed out that when a person gets into disobedience s/he gets into the devil’s territory and attracts his attacks on his/her body. Stay within the boundary where God’s love can reach, cover and protect you.
The greatness of a person can be determined by what it takes to stop him / her from a mission. “The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger” (Job 17:9).
In this powerful and comforting message from our Saviour, Jesus Christ, we explore the theme “God’s Sheep and the Lost Sheep,” emphasising that even the lost sheep is still part of God’s flock. God’s love is not limited to the faithful alone; it extends to those who have wandered away. His desire is to bring them back into the fold, rejoicing over their return.
Acts 19 recounts the story of the seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish high priest, who attempted to invoke the name of Jesus to cast out evil spirits. But the response they received was unexpected and thought-provoking: “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” The same may be the question that evil spirits are asking some people today, who are facing challenging situations orchestrated by them.
As “God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul” (Acts 19:11), so will He do through you today, when you exercise your faith in Him. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever more (Hebrews 13:8).
The virtues of faith and hope in God are our anchors in times of trouble and our compass when the path is unclear. Let us hold fast to our faith and keep our hope alive, for with these, we can achieve victory over the challenges we face.
Your regular routines in life will either facilitate or frustrate your relationship with God. It is your wisdom to review them urgently and make tough choices today.
Great questions deserve proper answers, and your answers determine your outcomes. Paul’s question to the Ephesian disciples “Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?” is personalised to you and me today. What is your answer?
Knowing who you are in God, your position and identity in Christ, will enable you to effectively exercise your God-given authority to rule your world – as promised by Jesus “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).
The preservation and transmission of the gospel to future generations depends on our ability to recognise, develop and empower emerging leaders for success. Paul admonished “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).
Strengthening all the disciples was one of his primary objectives in life and ministry, and so must it be with us. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Colossians 3:16).
Whether in natural or spiritual storms, you can enjoy the peace that Jesus promised – “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27).
Fear paralysis action. No wonder God’s admonishes believers repeatedly to fear not. Had Paul not acted positively on the “Be not afraid…” message, he could have pre-maturely terminated his mission at Corinth and lost the harvest.
Whenever the Holy Spirit stirs a person, it is a signal that God is ready to act. Therefore, it is wise for the person to respond promptly. Do not allow fear, procrastination, grieving or quenching of the Holy Spirit, etc. to make you miss your divine moment for blessing, miracles and deliverance.
The human mind is like an open field where all sort of weeds grow together. It takes Spiritual Renewal to clear out the bad weeds – paving way for understanding for the good, acceptable and good will of God (Romans 12:2).
Being a noble Christian is an indispensable requirement for Spiritual soundness in times like these – “Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true” (Acts 17:11).
God will always come through for you. So, patiently hold firm to Him in faith. No incarceration will ever be permanent in your life. Your season for breakthrough is at hand.
The power in praising God is inestimable. Time and again, we see God move in magnificent power and splendour in response to praise from His subjects. Truly, “Whoso offereth praise glorified me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God” (Psalm 50:23).
Strength is an essential ingredient for victory. God commands you and me to “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might… take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:10-13).
One of the key principles for victory is quick identification and prompt dealing with potential sources of problems before they become issues. Decisive and timely action will spare you from loads of troubles and grieves.
“Tough times never last but tough people do” (Dr. Robert Schuller). In tough times like these “the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits” (Daniel 11:32). Knowing who you are in God and exercising your authority in Christ will make an effective difference in any time, no matter how tough they may be.
To live a successful life of adventure, we must be sensitive to discern and follow divine guidance today. From ages past, God has always been keen on guiding His people. He promised in Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye”.
When your current circumstance in life is like a hard, rough and harsh pillow of stone, all you need to do is clinging unto the promises of God as that is more than enough to take you to your divinely appointed destiny.
God has always been in the practice of using men and women to accomplish His plan. What qualities could make you one of the prime candidates for His choice?
What do you have to overcome today to realise your purpose in life? Overcoming will leave behind a monument of hope that will positively impact and encourage others in their journeys of life. So, rise up and face the challenges.
“Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34), is a timeless word of God that must surely come to pass. It is the responsibility of every Christian to promote the righteousness of their nation. God’s command in Jeremiah 29:7 “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace” still applies today.
There are timeless principles that produces champions of faith in any situation for any individual that is willing to apply them. Find out and apply them for the transformation of your life today.
There will always be problems in life and there are right and wrong ways of handling them. Solving problems correctly are essential for progress making.
God commands us in Ephesians 5:16 to redeem the time because the days are evil. Never allow procrastination to destroy you opportunities and prospects in life. It is time to arise and act now.
There are blessings, protection and deliverance for all those under divine covering. Therefore, “Stay always within the boundaries where God’s love can reach and bless you” (Jude 1:21 – TLB).
Determine by the grace of God to survive any challenge that come against you in life. It is only survivors who can accomplish their God given purpose in this life. “The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence” (Psalm 115:17).
Rejection in one place does not imply a universal rejection. Following their rejection at Iconium, Paul and Barnabas were celebrated as gods ‘in the likeness of men’ at Lystra (Luke 14:1-15). Your gifts, talents and skills will work better and bless more people where you are celebrated, than at where you are tolerated.
It takes thorough personal re-considerations to see in true perspectives and refine our ways for progress – hence to divine mandate to you to “consider your ways” (Haggai 1:5,7).
Life is a challenging race. To live correctly and win the race at the end of life, and achieve our divine destiny, then it is essential to heed the divine admonition “Looking unto Jesus….” (Hebrews 12:2).
It is one thing start, and entirely another to finish and to finish well. God delights in finishers – hence Paul and Barnabas persuaded the believers to “continue in the grace of God” (Acts 13:43)
When God calls you, don’t turn about to check who else is following as Peter did (John 21:21). Rather, “look unto Abraham… for I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him” (Isaiah 51:2).
God has a word of exhortation for you today. Discovering and hearkening to it will make a difference in your life for time and eternity. “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God” (Revelation 2:7).
It is prudent, wise and appropriate to heed this scriptural admonition – “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed” (Romans 13:11).
The Holy Spirit still guides today, and those who follow Him, experience divine favour, miracles, blessings, fulfilment and achievement of divine purpose for their lives.
God is speaking but are you hearkening? Many times in the Book of Revelation (e.g. 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22), Jesus repeatedly said “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches”. It is time to stay ‘connected’ and act on what the Holy Spirit is saying to you today.
Fear not. God’s unstoppable power is: in you, for you with you working in you, and working through you
“The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17). “
“Ye are of God… greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (I John 4:4).
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
A gift is not a gift until it is received by the recipient. God gave His greatest gift to you and me, in the form of His Son, Jesus Christ. Have you received Him? “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
The message in the song by Ruth Caye Jones (1902 – 1972) accurately captures and resonates with our needs in contemporary times that “In times like these, you need a Saviour, Bible, Anchor…. Be very sure, your Anchor holds and grips the solid rock…. This rock is Jesus….” May your life be Anchored on the solid rock of ages through every storm of life.
We all have memories from past negative experiences and setbacks that we wish never happened. Often, these become like bondages that chain people to the past. Learn in this video how to overcome these and move on to live a fulfilled live that God planned for you.
It is encouraging to know that the persecution and suffering of Christians will not last for ever. A time always come, when God steps in, in His power and intervenes. It has happened many times in the Bible, it is still happening in contemporary times and it will continue to happen till Jesus returns.
The Holy Spirit has the best answers and perfect solutions to every predicament in life. Following Him guarantees you success, safety and progress in life.
God always intervenes at the nick of time. He will not come too early, neither will he come late. The Psalmist declared “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early” (Psalm 46:5). And that is why you must not give up, even in the midnight of your troubles and woes. Never forget the admonition that “… weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
Sometimes great doors of opportunities swing open slowly and in small ways. Not despising small beginnings, and remaining faithful and steadfast in silent years will ultimately swing the doors open wider for breakthroughs.
“Wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it” (Proverbs 8:11). “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).
Life attains a different level of dimension when lived with purpose of heart. Actions reach a different level of meaning when carried out with purpose of heart. Decisions emanating from purpose of heart transforms for the better. Determine to be a man or woman of purpose, and it will surprise you what God can do through you.
After extensive research spanning years, King Solomon drew vital conclusions to help you achieve your purpose in life, including: (1) “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7); and (2) “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).
The starting point to a meaningful pursuit in life is the recognition of its value. The things people pursue in life has a tendency to materialise in reality. People generally pursue what they consider important and valuable. Take time to consider if your pursuit in life is worth its value.
God’s offer of salvation is so wide and broad that the Bible declares “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). Truly, God is no respecter of persons.
Chaos, crisis, confusion, conflict, destruction and death abound where people fail to learn their lessons on foolishness. God’s solution to these is wisdom.
Good farmers clear the bush before planting crops. Good builders dig open the ground before laying foundation for buildings. Similarly, a Christian who wants to live by the wisdom of God must first be emptied of human wisdom to make room for God’s – hence the Biblical admonition “Cease ye from man…” (Isaiah 2:22).
The preparation of the heart is essentially the preparation of a life because, our hearts are the centre that influences everything and set the direction and “sails” of our lives. King Solomon admonished – “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).
God can do anything by Himself alone, but often choses to involve human beings in partnership as co-labourers – “workers together with Him” (2 Corinthians 6:1). Recognition of this principle is significant for spiritual growth and attainment of destiny.
